This Privacy Policy explains how LocalGEO Corporation (“localGEO”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses and protects information when you visit localgeo.com (the “Site”), use the localGEO platform at app.localgeo.com (the “Platform”), or otherwise interact with us. 1. Our two roles
For the Site and our own business contacts, localGEO decides how your information is used and is responsible for it (a “controller” or “business”).
For data our customers bring to the Platform (“Customer Data”), such as call records, CRM leads, bookings and payment records, we act on our customer’s instructions as their service provider or processor. Our customer agreement governs that processing. If you are a customer of one of our customers, their privacy notice applies, and you should send requests about that data to them. We will help them respond.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us. Your name, business email, company, role and message when you request a demo or an audit, contact sales or sign up; account details when you or your organization create a Platform account; and anything you send us by email.
Information collected automatically. Standard log data such as IP address, browser type, pages visited and timestamps, and the cookies described in our Cookie Policy.
Customer Data in the Platform. When a customer connects a system, we process only the fields needed to measure and attribute AI search results. Depending on the connectors a customer enables, this can include:
- Public information about the customer’s business: AI engine answers, search results, maps rankings, listings, reviews and website content.
- Website analytics events, such as the page a visit landed on, its referrer and campaign tags.
- Call metadata from the customer’s phone system: time, duration, the number dialed and the outcome. Caller phone numbers are stored only as keyed hashes.
- Limited CRM, booking and billing fields needed to connect a lead to a booking, a deal and a payment, such as source fields, dates, stages, amounts and status.
- Access tokens for the customer’s connected systems, stored encrypted and never written to logs.
What we do not collect. We do not store call recordings or the content of calls, answers people type into booking forms, or payment card numbers. The Platform is designed to exclude health information. Where a customer requires us to handle protected health information, we do so only in a dedicated regulated deployment under a signed business associate agreement.
3. How we use information
- To provide, secure and support the Site and the Platform, including attribution, evidence grading and reporting.
- To respond to your requests and send service and account messages.
- To send you information about localGEO if you ask for it. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To detect, prevent and investigate fraud, abuse and security incidents.
- To create aggregated, de-identified statistics, such as industry benchmarks, that do not identify any customer or individual, as permitted by our customer agreements.
- To comply with law and enforce our terms.
AI services. To measure how AI engines describe a business, we send questions about that business to AI providers. We do not send Customer Data about individuals to AI engines for this purpose, and we do not use Customer Data to train AI models.
4. How we share information
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only:
- With service providers that host, secure and operate our services under contracts that limit their use of the data. These include cloud hosting, identity and sign-in, email, and search and AI data providers.
- With systems a customer tells us to connect, such as writing attribution records back to the customer’s own CRM.
- When required by law, or to protect the rights, safety and security of localGEO, our customers or others.
- As part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to this policy.

5. Retention
We keep Site and business-contact information for as long as needed for the purposes above. Customer Data is kept for the term of the customer’s agreement and then deleted or returned as that agreement provides, except where the law requires us to keep it longer.
6. Security
We protect information with measures appropriate to its sensitivity. These include encryption in transit and at rest, tenant isolation, single sign-on and multi-factor authentication, least-privilege access, and audit logging. No system is perfectly secure, and we will notify affected customers and individuals of a security incident as the law requires.
7. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, and to access, correct or delete it, get a copy of it, or object to or limit certain uses. California residents have these rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended. We will not discriminate against you for exercising them.
To make a request, email info@localgeo.com. We will verify your request before acting on it, and you may use an authorized agent. If your information is Customer Data, we will refer your request to the customer responsible for it. We honor Global Privacy Control signals as a request to opt out of any sale or sharing.
8. International users
localGEO is based in the United States, and we process and store information in the United States. If you access our services from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to the United States. Where the law requires it, we use appropriate safeguards for those transfers.
9. Children
Our services are for businesses and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their personal information.
10. Changes and contact
We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the effective date above, and if the changes are material we will give notice on the Site or by email. Questions or requests: info@localgeo.com.
